Ok so its officially day 5 im on my 3rd tank of gas, im at 932 miles with lots of spirited driving averaging 30.3 mpgs, max rpm ive been to as of today was 5900 RPMs, engine feels it has better tq than when I picked it up, during high g corners and steep down hills the car shifts to a lower gear automatically ( car thinks its at green hell I bet lol... ) did my first medium speed drift with all the nannies off, great turn in and smooth transition slide ( was doing a 45 mph drift in 3rd held for about 3 seconds then hooked up, tires are broken in and are girpping better every day, I love how the chassis is so good even with low grip tires It will destroy apexes all day, detsiling the car tomorrow, cant wait!

OK revival of my thread i know
im currently at 33,000 miles or something like that... still love the car as much as the day i bought it anyways... im starting my build thread at 50,000 miles i wanted to test the TRUE reliability of this car with boost, this will be my first boosted car and im still up in the air on Innovative or PTuning both are great kits with great quality. The main reason I want to start my build at 50,000 miles is because, well i have more miles than most on this forum, i drive semi-aggressively on the daily (hitting redline at least once) and because I want to have a foothold for those who didnt want to buy the car new but wanted to go boosted and used 2-3 years from now. The engine will remain stock with a replacement built to spec on the side. When the stock engine goes ill do a complete breakdown. (If i suspect engine failure the engine will be shut off and put into neutral, coasted to a stop then towed followed a quick engine replacement that night) I would like to do a personal diagnosis then send it off to a shop for a proper study of the failure (most likely AWD tuning since they are a reputable boxer engine shop) I will most likely go with innovative on the main fact that it will be easy to remove during that overnight engine swap. but i will keep the supercharger and not replace it if there is no damage to it to continue doing R&D on it's reliability The build will begin on a completely stock system and all dynos will be done at the same shop 1st build 1 supercharger 2 WMI kit 3 full header back exhaust 4 fuel sump kit 5 ecutek 6 flexfuel 7 aluminum radiator 2nd build (after stock engine blows) This will be the block i build on the side 1 cams 2 pistons (will keep stock compression or i may go higher) 3 crank 4 dry sump 5 low friction coating on most parts 6 port and polished heads, intake runners, exhaust runners 7 super damper so what do you think guys? i plan on being around 50k miles around x-mas time so we will see
