I agree - this looks like a great product, but this post nor the GSpeed website really allow you to see the details of the roll bar up close. @GSpeed, is there any possibility that you can update this post with detailed photos of the quality of the welds, the mounting plates, and the installation?

Hm, good point. I'll have to get some better pictures. Let me see if I have any from the prototype build stashed away.

Our offer still stands for a reduced price in exchange for letting us use your car for installation instructions (and more photos).

I'd love to be a part of that, but the map shows a solid 13 hours between us. I can't imagine the discount would be so juicy that it could justify that :\

Alright guys, big update. We need to start moving these, so we've dropped the price to $1399 AND re-negotiated shipping costs. Shipping is now FREE to the lower 48. Anyone that's already bought one will have the difference refunded, of course.

If you're still looking for a car to do install instructions in January, I might be down.

Well, I'd like to think we'd get it taken care of before then, but definitely hit me up when you're ready and we'll see where we are.

He actually decided to go for a fully welded half-cage that could be used to make a full 8-point cage down the road.

So no, the offer still stands. We need a car to do install instructions.

How does the bar mount in the rear section? Are the holes already there in the body or do they have to be drilled?

You have to drill holes, yes.

Hey all. I installed this bar on my car last week and plan on writing an unofficial install guide. The bar looks great and the install process was easy enough without any guidance. I'll put it up on here in a few days
