Right now, my cooling stack is 5 HX deep (oil cooler, trans cooler, sc cooler, ac condenser, radiator). Something like the JR would be a huge win for me.

I have the Jackson dual radiator with the Harrop S/C. Works very well on the street. Hopefully will collect some track data soon.

Sweet, any pictures of it installed that show how things fit?

Can anyone recommend a clutch and stock weight flywheel for a car with this system running e85 FF and header/exhaust? Been using the CM FX450 system with lightened flywheel and it seems to cause a lot of drivability issues in stop and go traffic.

The misses always peels out in it too trying to compensate, so I would like something where not as much gas is needed for the sake of the 245 mpss.

Also, could anyone please find out if the relay control unit for the intercooler pump has a certain amperage or is just a blank? I replaced it with a red 15 after the last one blew and everything is fine now.

This a final follow up on the kit install. The install has been completed for about 4000 miles with zero mechanical issues. Everything from Harrop worked as intended and advertised.

For those that may still be on the fence between the Harrop and Edelbrock kits - one so far unmentioned advantage to the Harrop is that it can be installed without taking the bumper cover off.

I did spend the last few weeks working with Zach at Delicious Tuning to finalize the tune. We went through about 7 revisions on the tune (2017 BRZ manual trans). Zach was dealing with a tip-in knock issue and a hot stalling issue. It did drive very well outside of those two issues. I ended up taking the car to Delicious (about 80 miles away) for him to look at in person. After about an hour Zach had both issues killed and the car runs as well as it ever did from Subaru. Strong as hell, broad torque curve, easily controllable both from a stop and at speed.

Then we filled up on E85.......No idea why folks want more for a street car. I must be getting old. This is a completely STOCK - down to the exhaust - 2017 BRZ with ONLY the Harrop kit, Delicious flex fuel kit and Delicious/Ecutek tune as mods. It is now the definition of "Point and shoot". It can overload the traction control at will. I will need to learn to drive it again before attempting Track mode outside of a controlled environment.

Props to Subaru, Harrop and Delicious. For less than $40K it's nothing short of a Cayman with a basic interior. Which was kinda the goal.

Welcome to the club I'm curious how you installed the low-temp radiator without removing the bumper cover. Or do you mean you didn't have to remove the bumper bar? Perhaps openings in the 2017 bumper gives access to the bolts used to attach the radiator? Even with the bumper cover removed I struggled to get those bolts started, I can't imagine doing it with the bumper still on the car.

I pulled the under trays off, as instructed. The upper bolts to the condenser/intercooler radiator are kinda a pain, but doable. They are very close to the beam, but just enough clearance to get the job done. A ratcheting box end wrench was helpful.

I actually had to ream out the slots in the HX with a round file because they weren't wide enough to get the bolts started. If I hadn't had the access I had to be able to see what I was doing and see that things weren't lining up, I probably would have ragequit.

The same can be said about the Edelbrock kit, but pulling the bumper just makes life easier

Yeah, I would need 90-degree ratcheting fingers to have pulled-off the installation without bumper removal I couldn't get the heat exchanger mounting screws started either. I was tempted to pull the crash bar at one point! The stars eventually aligned and things went together but it was one of the most difficult parts of the install for me. Maybe Harrop have corrected the slot sizes in newer versions of the kit?

Real quick: the air filter that Harrop supplies is washable/reusable, correct? I can't remember if it is - my guess is yes.
