Resonated, catted, powder coated.

Still deciding on what shop to go to for the install and a tune will follow that.

Knoxville huh? bring it over. I just put on the FA20club EL header catted and coated. If you just want a shop I'd use Fastech on Topside Dr. or Tony at High Velocity Motorsports. For the tune, I'd go with ECUTEK and Toni at fa20club. You can borrow my cable.

I have been trying to decide between FA20 and Visconi for the tune. At the moment leaning toward Visconi as it seems to have a little more in the middle where most driving is occurring. Though, my primary goal is to simply get rid of the torque dip. Extra power is icing.

On borrowing your cable, which is very awesome of you, I would just need the license and tune correct?

When you had yours tuned, was it just an apply it and go sort of thing or did Toni tweak it for you between dyno runs? If it was dyno'd how long did you work on it? Trying to understand the process and costs.

I have not dynoed it yet. I bought the ECUTEK stuff which ran $800 if i remember right. He sent me his stage 2 tune, ecutek cable, and USB dongle. You put the software on your laptop. There is a USB dongle that has your license. You just plug that into the laptop. Its easy to load up the tune that he e-mails. Then you do some data logging where you do some leisure driving and then a 3rd gear WOT run from 2500 to redline. E-mail that file and he will retune. He has done a few for me. Every tune has made a noticeable improvement. I'm now running the DI fix, cam phasing, and I'm on my 2nd tune for the header. The car is noticeably stronger everywhere! Its totally different from stock. You are welcome to drive it. He now has another datalog of mine and will be sending me another tune this weekend. I will be done unless I do some dyno time somewhere. Toni will do a remote dyno tune with you at no extra charge. You would just need to schedule it obviously since he's working on other stuff as well. I don't think you can go wrong with either tuner but I do like Toni and have been happy with the results. Plus I like his other products as well. Borrowing my cable will save you a couple hundred but you'll need it anytime you load a tune or datalog. I e-mailed Tony at High Velocity Motorsports. Maybe we could schedule some dyno time together and have Toni do some remote tunes for us both.

You sir, are awesome and I definitely like the way you are thinking. A "joint" dyno day would be neat. Going to give Tony a call for getting the headers installed and order the FA20 tune.

Thank you. This has really helped.

Do you know how easy it is to instal this header yourself? Everything is on the bottom of the motor.
