Can I ask what you carry?
I've wanted a Polish P-64 for quite a while. They're such neat little pistols. A family friend actually has several P-64's. One night, many years ago he was awakened by, although he didn't know it then, the sound of a baddie killing the neighbor's dog with a kitchen knife. The man then broke into and entered our friend's home. Our friend met the man in the darkened living room and demanded that the man drop the knife, which he could barely make out. The man started advancing on him, so our friend fired a single 9x18 into the man's torso, killing him instantly. Our friend isn't a military man. He underwent some counseling after that, and the police chief offered him his pistol back, which he declined. It later turned out that the man was wanted for all kinds of bad stuff.

I've shot the P-64, and debated picking one up from AIM when they had them earlier this year, but they're really unpleasant to shoot even with a reduced power recoil spring. They just beat up the web of your hand.
This is my usual: Czech vz. 82.

Just picked this Sig SP2022 up
It's a little bit bulky to actually concealed carry during summer since I usually wear t-shirts and skinny jeans, but once I get my CPL I may start carrying it in my glovebox and I already open carry it on my property. 9mm is nice for the ammo availability, cost, limited recoil, high capacity, and satisfactory ballistic performance.

If I chose to get a concealed carry gun, it'll be a 9mm. Its an easy to shoot caliber and there are a lot of platforms for it. Sure, the hole won't be as big as a .45, but a hole is a hole.

I cc a glock 26. It's loaded with 6 fmj and 6 gold dots that are stacked.(alternating). Sometimes I'll carry the Springfield ultra compact 1911 in a 45. Not much bigger than the 26 and more stopping power. Granted has less than half the rounds in it...
