It is basically the same height. I can get the exact measurement but we're talking within 1/8th of an inch.

Awesome, really liking the added fins for cooling. Will be doing my own oil changes though, don't want a newb to strip the drain plug!

How much total capacity will this pan add?

From the pics I've seen I thought the upper pan was more of an engine girdle, is that inaccurate?
