Congrats on going though XTR instead of vivid, Chris is awesome when it comes to customer service but i think you made a wrong choice with the exhaust. The AGP looks great but the quality is garbage. I hope you dont have the same problems like i did later down the road.

Just use the saved money to weld the clamps to the piping. Good luck with the exhaust.

Your better off getting a Megan Exhaust than an AP. They are a horrible company who steals other peoples designs. Look at the 3 dyno threads their vendor made. All bullshit lies that all got called out. Vendor accounts changing posters after they get called out for something happened like 3 times.

Customer Dyno's versus their vendor dynos are nothing a like and have similar performance to what you would see from a knock off ebay brand. Bad fitment issues and made in China parts that they claim are made in USA by their vendor. Lots more I havent brought up also. Avoid them at all costs. They are a shady company who dont deserve anyones money. For what they charge they have the worse performance out of all the exhausts on these forums after you compare customers dynos to other companies exhausts had dyno'd by 3rd parties.

They are banned from every major Subaru forum as a vendor for tons of reasons. This is probably the only forum they arent banned on at the moment. Here is a 60 page thread of reviews of the company. The first 1/4 of it is probably good reviews but the last half definately is all bad experiences and horror stories of AP/Vivid Racing. It ended in 2006 or so according to another member here but he also said that doing a google search will show the same things still happening in the past couple years and continue so for other cars. You will see BMW forums posters on their forums saying the same things that people at NASIOC said
http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show...racing&page=45
This was posted in the part III thread of Vivid racing thread on these forums. I am glad I was warned of them by the other user because I was close to purchasing their exhaust also. Hope you dont either and save your self a headache like the other poster who wont get a warranty because of track use which is straight up bull shit.

I would've suggested the Invidia N1, but you already purchased the exhaust everyone recommended not to. Good luck with that.

After all that has happened with them specifically in this forum (not to mention all other Subaru forums).... This guy still goes out and supports this Sh*t of a company... Good GOD help us!!

No knock on the OP, it is your money and you can do whatever you want with it. I'm just stating the fact that this is how they survive...

I know right!! Why even post up about feedback when you have a 100% intent to buy it.

If you're cool with just blowing money on car parts with no regard for how its made, what it's made of, and customer service. I'll make you an exhaust for much cheaper! How about $400...

I can make you a super lightweight, dual exhaust with burnt tips and I guarantee it will sound like a straight off the header dump, which will sound awesome. I'll even throw in a full lifetime transferable limited warranty.

Just send me a $400 wire transfer to my account in Nigeria.

(Note: exposing the exhaust to moisture will void the warranty, as will installing it to a vehicle, as it is made of double corrugated 100% recyclable materials)
