This needs to be a sticky somewhere.

Just trololo your way into the dealer and tell them you will pay the Pure pricing on their Scion site only (which is true MSRP)

Then trololo your way out

Technically these are not options. Just a different "trim".

Bright side is that now you can buy USDM DRL/HIDs for your car from the dealer.

Or just buy a BRZ lol

Also there are some unwanted goodies, but then if you buy it sell it later keep it in good condition it'd sell for alot since only 2-3k of these are being made? its not a bad investment, but its opinionated. Call me stupid but i would have bought it and repainted it the color i desire and done off with what i wanted with it
With limited editions, they maintain their value by being unmolested. Gotta keep it stock & mint if you want it to be an "investment."

IMHO, even cult cars aren't an investment. The corolla GTS retailed for 94XX back in 1986. The most mint condition ones available today sell for 4-6k. Maybe, just maybe, someone may be willing to pay 10k, maybe 15k for sub 1k mile AE86, but after inflation & the cost of storage, the gain is minimal. On the other hand, if 9.5k were returning an average 5% a year...

Sure there are rare exotics that go for millions, but.... that's more gambling than investing.

They should have made it a unique color... something not so bland (No offense)

Anyone remember this?

I don't see the value personally, but those who really want it will pay for it, and be happy they have a "special" version later on down the line. Who knows, maybe they'll be worth good money 25 years from now.

Because they think the glowing shit and other scion shits worth as much as what are on the brz limited, leather seats, fog lights, spoiler and heated seats.

Im going to get my deposit back. Fck it, not buying it. 27425 may sound right to me but no extra 755 dph. Take down to 26500, then we have a solid deal.

Curious, I emailed the closest Subaru dealer for a quote on a 6M/T Limited at the Costco Auto Program discounted prices.

They didn't have any in stock. Instead, he offered a de-contented Premium for $26,999 (Subaru.com shows $26,265) or a 6A/T Limited for $29,713 (Subaru.com shows $29,365). And those are the "discounted" Costco prices, add whatever they can squeeze out of you with their ADP side stickers.

He offered to order a 6M/T Limited but said it would more than the others due to "limited production", but didn't say how much more (Subaru.com shows $28,625).

http://www.bigsubarustore.com/new-in...etPrice%20asc&

http://www.subaru.com/build-your-own...s_kpi=trim_nav

So guessing $29,000+ for a 6M/T Limited BRZ makes the Series 10 look good in comparison. Maybe it's this market area, but Scion pricing scheme is definitely the better deal, and the Series 10 a no-brainer.

Most likely is due to the electrical power that is already available with the A/T console. The M/T has simply a stick which rows cables/linkages manually to the shifter mechanism inside/outside the trans. The A/T console has electrical connections that detect shifter placement and then can be tapped for futher power needs.

In other words: its easier, with less engineering, IMHO. See the thread about 'shift gear display when clutch is depressed' for a similar discussion.

Those extras are added options. Autodim Rear View Mirror, etc. Do some research. Also, you could haggle the price down if you don't like the price. You don't live in CA! Don't expect to get any BRZ below MSRP in CA, although I know few dealerships do knock down below MSRP. However, the cars are sold out pretty quickly.

Don't compare Series 10 with BRZ Limited. It is very obvious that this car is way overpriced than a BRZ limited. Just saying. You like the car you buy it. Nobody will have an issue with you.

Also, 9 out of 10 salesmen called me and always told me the same thing, "discounted price." I always told them to knock down to the price I want. They were just shy away. Only 1 of them was a sales from CO. His offer was a real deal. It is too bad I can't get it from him due to personal reasons.

Unless I missed something, the dealer's Limited has rear bumper applique ($69) and alloy wheel locks ($29.95), $348 more than the Subaru.com MSRP build price.

The over MSRP price quoted by the dealer in the link is their "discounted" Costco price. Retail is more.

I provided links that in my market a Series 10 sold at retail costs far less than a Limited for substantially the same car +/- a few accessories on either that may or may not appeal to you.

And maybe you didn't know, but if you qualify as a registered Toyota fleet customer, any eligible Toyota/Lexus/Scion (currently including 10 Series) is available at very favorable pricing. I've also heard Subaru VIP pricing is also favorable, but don't know what's involved to qualify.
