I'm a little confused about this so let me see if this is correct...
04 front calipers with switched bleeder valves
08+ rear calipers
04-07 front rotors
08+ rear rotors duel drill to fit 5x100...

Is that correct.

The red is incorrect. 04 front rotors are specified BECAUSE they are 5x100 natively.

Not without a 15mm spacer MINIMUM. You'll probably need a 20mm.

I see nothing wrong in my statement re: front rotor.

yes 04 is predrill to 5*100, but 05 and beyond aren't. notice i put the plus sign there.

speaking from brembo swap - i just (yes like 5min ago) took off the front caliper from my 2013 STI. I plan to put it on wife's fr-s and get AP bbk for the STI.

So basically to sum it up the prudent thing to do when doing this mod is to get a set of:

08+ sti calipers front and rear
04+ sti rotors front
08+ sti rotors rear dual drilled to 5x100
20mm spacers if using stock wheels

This should be a fun project to do

Curious if anyne has pics of this setup n stock rims

Nothing WRONG, but it's not right. Easier for most people to get 5x100 rotors then get rotors drilled. Anyhow, most good STI rotors are dual-drilled except trusty Centric blanks.

Some minor notes:

04-current for front caliper. The shape hasn't changed in 10 years.
04 rotor if you don't want to drill, 05-current if you're okay getting it drilled (as I said most STI rotors will be dual-drilled anyhow).

Can anyone confirm that RockAuto.com has rebuilt brembos directly from the STI?

For instance, part number 14247039 brings up a Front-Right Caliper for the following vehicles:
SUBARU IMPREZA (2004 - 2005)
SUBARU IMPREZA WRX STI (2006 - 2012)
SUBARU IMPREZA WRX STI LIMITED 2011

If this is the case, they have all 4 calipers for $960. I realize this doesn't include rotors or brake lines, but it still seems like a hell of a deal.

Has anyone bought these and can confirm they are legitimate rebuilt Brembos?

I would trust Centric. I've heard of people buying the remans and they are Brembo calipers; just don't ebay that shit. I'm actually looking at Cardone 2 pot rear remans right now and they dirt cheap...

I've been too hesitant to be the first as well. Waiting on someone else to be the guinea pig haha. That being said, I think you really need a set

Bump on the rockauto.com, has anyone bought calipers off this site? They don't have pictures and specific details, but searching 04-05 wrx 2.5l turbo -> brakes -> caliper i am getting some parts come up that are showing for $100. Also i'm looking to build a set of BBK from 04-05 brembos, what would be a good price for front calipers alone?
