Cool shop, friendly guys.
I'm curious, did you install the camber bolts yourself and then went in to get the alignment? If so, did you attempt to get as much neg camber as you could when installing the bolts? Or did you just put them in and let Jack do the adjustment.

Definitely going to American Auto-X on 5/18.
But I might try and hit Laguna Seca on 5/19, I better be able to beat my 1:58.1 with the upgrades
Busy month. May see you in May . You may need the extra weight hehe. Wait, same class...I got dibs on Blaine lol. 1:58 should be a cake since you've gained confidence. I'll check out Hayward.

Thanks for the info. I'm a bit reserved on installing the bolts and plates b/c I still have the stock tires. I've driven a cambered car and boy does the rear wiggle. At high speeds, it is very 'nimble' that it's scary. Then the rear was cambered with links and it settled. A plus to camber the rear when possible.

Whiteline's bolts and plates are straight thru installs, the bolts has a 'washer' to distinguish between none and then some. Still, I have stock tires.

Results from Sunday

www.sfr-solo.org/solo2/Results/2013/Championship/round04.html

Tons of twins there, everybody looking faster and faster (and sometimes too fast! Who took out the timing lights?)

Sweet! I wish I could partake but my car isn't set up for track duty, and I've never done a track day before. Too bad they don't have driving school runs at Laguna Seca or else I'd consider it.

with NCRC, you can request personal instruction it cost $149
Novice (brand new to the track) drivers will automatically be placed in the Driving School if we have one that day, and therefore do not need additional instruction. We have a limited number of personal instructors available for other drivers, at a cost listed below. When you register and pay for personal instruction, we will let you know if we have an instructor available for the event.

I just asked around and got an instructor to ride with me for free, so don't let that hold you back.

I drove at laguna on stock tires, did a 1:58.1 and had a blast. I'd suggest just replacing the brake pads at least. Probably Hawk HPS would be fine specially if your new and not pushing.

Leave everything else stock and you'll learn a lot

Great info deadpool. I want to do Laguna first after years of hiatus from tracking bikes.

I will be out at San Juaquin Fairgrounds in Stockton this Saturday. Sac SCCA is running both Sat and Sun at the fairgrounds. 4 runs, surface is fairly quick, some bumps and asphalt/cement/blackjack transitions. I am running in OSP in the morning groups to get back to the 'honey-do' list in Modesto.
