Got the ESC installed last night, @fenton
Thanks for the help, tune files and instructions. It's extremely hot today, but last night around 1am this thing pulled so hard with my final drive swap/header/CAI plus this ESC 😲😲😲😲

Full throttle Electric Supercharger Build Thread

Do you have an air straightner on that cai?

Also take a look at getting the metal jacket for your starter battery to protect it from the heat.

Great job man. Final drive + ESC should feel beastly. If you have e85 nearby also give the e85 tune a shot. I always recommend it for those with corn juice nearby it adds about 20-30 WHP and 20TQ to the mix depending on your setup.

There's actually a place about 15min away from my house that i'll definitely try! I used to run E85 about a year ago and didn't stay with it due to the bad gas mileage. I'm excited to feel the power with ESC+E85+FD etc haha crazy

It happens to people without the ESC, it's a flaw in the 13-14 engines. They fixed it in mid-late 2014, so it shouldn't happen if your car is newer than that. Mine happened when idling at a red light as well.

Looks like mine was caused by a rocker pin backing out.

If my heads survived (machinist taking a look) building them. However I haven't seen a single after market rocker to stop this from happening.

My memory isn't the most reliable, I know I saw a post about this. I believe some aftermarket manufacturer tackled this problem for turbo applications, not sure but I want to say full blown... again, take this with a grain of salt

Awesome man! Glad everything went good for you. I cant even imagine E85 plus ESC plus a lower FD.....You will probably light the tires up just punching it mid RPM.

Need a new engine. Because of that I am selling my Phantom. This is the latest build with the highest compression out of any other phantom.

I also have an extra lower powered compressor that can be plugged in for extended boost.

Also the kit has the auxillary charger as well.

If local I can give you a good packaged deal on the batteries etc.

I'll give you guys two hours before posting on the local sale thread.

That does suck, but how does this describe a 2013 motor? is it common for the valve to float eg. weak springs that were changed after 2013? or just the rocker pin issue that was updated?
