I have to believe there is some sort of reservoir in those things that lets a carefully controlled stream of water run down the side of the car for hours.
Hell, it doesn't even have to be clean water!

Probably already been said in a 200+ page topic, but I hate that they made the stock wheels a 2-tone color. Either make it all silver, or all gun metal gray. The BRZ series blue got it right with all black.

I hate(d) the factory reverse lockout.

For one it felt like it came off a 1998 Pontiac Grand Am or some other GM garbage from that era. Secondly it ended up rattling like crazy. I put the Raceseng lockout on and problem solved.

I solved the rear hatch problem by forming a black silicone rubber gasket to stop water getting in.
Clean and put masking tape on the body around where the plastic bit with the number plate lights touches, removing the plastic bit , clean the plastic surfaces that touch the metal with alcohol, clean the body/paint where the plastic touches, put a very light smear of petroleum jelly on the body, put masking tape all around the plastic as far as the edge that touches, put a bead of silicone rubber around the edge of the plastic. Re-attach the plastic lightly, ensuring it touches the jelly all round, and allow the silicone to cure.
The jelly stops the rubber sticking to the bodypaint so you can get the plastic off later if needed. Tighten up the plastic/rubber to the metal, peel off the masking tape, trim the rubber neatly taking care not to cut through the paint.

Do the same gasket thing around the number plate.

I also fixed in "window panes" of colorless clear plastic with silicone to stop water getting in via the light holes, and sealed around the key-hole. It is best to do that part while the plastic is off the car.
