Under the bonnet, FT-86G receives a "specially tuned" version of the same 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine. Toyota says the front-engine, rear-drive FT-86G has received a significant performance upgrade.

Sweet, but will Scion offer G model or customers have to get body kit, brake calipers, wheel, seat, odometer, turbo, intercooler, hear, CF hood and wing and so on separately? Thinking about this being a Scion make me sick... Yeah Call it Toyota FR-S/86 G Sport, and gimme a friking break...

Thats great to hear

So the Base model and G model share the same engine

I suppose the G has other upgrades like suspension or break or tiny engine mods etc etc

But Im not sure if it true or false news again

They should just do away with Scions altogether. Crappy sales anyway. I havent seen a single NEW tc. Everyone has the older one, or is buying new Civics anyhow.

They don't make very many of them at once. The dealership ordered 3 here in Lubbock and they were sold before they arrived. Never even made it out to the lot. Since Scion has non-negotiable prices and demand is higher than production this makes them hard to obtain and increases they're resale value. I think that was the strategy.

It was already stated by Subaru Australia that they won't be brining in non AWD vehicles due to their high popularity and Subaru Aus being known for having only AWD.
