Only people who I have always allowed to mess with my vehicles have been my father and a local mechanic who has serviced our vehicles for 15+ years. He treats us VIP.

On my GTI, my local dealership sent me a complementary tire rotation coupon, so I went to have it done. Unfortunately they screwed up and accidentally changed my oil instead. So now I'm back to doing the basic work myself rather than dealing with that stress.

With my FR-S, I do most of the work myself anyway, mostly because of how much the track season ramps up the maintenance schedule (fluid changes, brake pads/rotors, tire rotations, exhaust, filters, intake etc.) Thankfully it's an easy car to work on. I'm learning some of it as I go. The DIY section of this forum is amazing.

Reading the replies got me thinking a bit more about this. I did a quick search on Autotrader and found that 360s have dropped to the C$80-100K range, which is pretty accessible (and kind of tempting...). This particular Crappy Tire is in a fairly rural area that is starting to get built up as a bedroom community for the surrounding wealthier cities, which have their own larger CT megastores. This particular store is small and doesn't carry some of the higher end stock you see in the bigger stores, fancy kitchen equipment for example. CT works on a franchise model, so maybe the owner of this one has developed a niche in auto service.

Likely belongs to the CT franchise owner. Or one of his sprogs.

That performance shop, @Special_K, would that happen to be AWD Auto?

No, it's FTW Tuning out of Eugene. Currently rocking a solid 5 star rating.

I had the same thought. I should have asked the counter jockey.
