Are these fake?
I was looking for lug nuts and came upon these on EBay,
Kics R40 in Black for 130, which is like half of the regular price. I thought these would be fake for sure. But I looked at the buyer's rating, he's got 99.4% positive feedback and has been selling on Ebay for over a year. Also it says item location is in China, which raises another flag... http://www.ebay.ca/itm/KYO-EI-RACING...6227b6&vxp=mtr Anyone has experience with this seller? Thanks |

I can't see eBay at work, but I see this in the link:
KYO-EI-RACING-COMPOSITE-R40-M12x1-25-WHEELS-BLACK-FLOATING-SEAT-LOCK-LUG-NUTS That doesn't sound like Kics R40 to me. It sounds like Knock Off R40 to me.

Thanks for the find, I checked this thread. But I think the seller is using pictures of the legit product so can't really tell from the pictures. I think I'm gonna pass on these. The fact that the item is located in China is a HUGE FLAG lol |

Yeah if it is too good to be true it is. You know what the real ones cost, so pay to play. This thread has some pics too:
http://www.evoxforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=89146 I got my real lugs from Evasive Motorsport. They seem to have great prices and sell just about every lug you could ever want.

My rule of thumb is, if you have a gut feeling then your probably right about them being fake. I would look at some of the vendors on here at getting any parts. I don't order anything off eBay for my car.
