If you guys get a group buy going, I would be very interested. Located in Michigan though.

i entered my info on bendpaks website to be reached, and the 2 retailers that called me require a minimum of 8 to get a bulk pricing, the 8 can be mixed and match from the 3500 or 5000 units.. price they offered was 200-300 savings depending on the unit you choose.. both retailers will only ship to 1 single location, i dont want to have to deal with shipping 7 other units out so it would have to be a local deal..

but tbh i dont want to break any rules here so i havent posted any in the tristate section for interests. i might just buy the one and be done with..

I appreciate the effort. It was worth a try, but at a certain point its too much of a hassle. I just went ahead and ordered a 3500. I have a feeling that if an official group buy had been offered on these boards, with direct shipping to customers, they could have sold enough to make it worth their while, but maybe not.

Quick jack 3500 support points

How does it support the factory jack points. Is it too short?

As was said earlier, the BL-5000 is 53 inches wide between the pads points. However, if you put the front pad on the front pinch weld and let the back one sit on the same rail, it works just fine and there has been no bending of the pinch welds using the rubber pads.

To address another point about the height and whether you can stack the pads to increase height, you can do it, but you have to wait until the jack is in place before you stack them. I usually only use the 3" pad as this provides plenty of clearance at the top position and there is no need for the extra 1.5". You have to remove these pads when not in use if you store the unit in the middle below your car. Otherwise, the pads will hit the exhaust as you drive forward and back (ask me how I know). This is a very handy device and I've gotten a lot of good out off it since I bought it last December.

I have the 3500 version of this lift. I got it from flyin miata for around $900. The 3500 version, I've heard, is slated to go out of production.

I had enough clearance to drop the front subframe of my miata using the lift with the larger rubber blocks and lifting to the second safety lock point.

It did take some effort to get the thing put together and working, but afterwards, it is a fantastic all around DIY lift system.

I look forward to using it on my BRZ.
