Hmmmm. I don't think that you will be able to "swap" the badges. They are installed with 3M double sided, stays on through the apocalypse tape. I'd say that if you want badges, your gonna have to buy new ones after the swap.

Good point. I think you can buy 'badge glue' at the autoparts store, i'm putting toyota badges on mine after the trunk swap so I'm ok with the scion ones being lost, the subie guys will need to use more care as its easy to break off the little alignment tabs in the process of removing the badges! Make sure car's been sitting in the sun for a few hours so its hot to soften the glue

Yep, you can prolly just get some new 3M tape? If you really want the badges swapped.

Alright! Thanks to member Benjoke for the lid swap, it took a bit longer than expected specifically because we needed to pull out wiring (which i didnt expect to do, because I thought everything was the same) but the BRZ has a button for the trunk release too so that added a little bit of time. Anyhow, this morning it took the two of us, and a friend about 2.5hrs to do, but it was hot as hell and we were taking our time, this whole swap should take like 45mins tops, we couldnt believe that places were charging $400 to do this..eeek

anyway:
BRZ lid on FRS (mindboggling, scion BRZ!)

After swap, we ended up unbolting and keeping our own respective pieces that are above the license plate to retain the trunk release button on Benjoke's BRZ.

Completed!:

Benjoke's BRZ w FRS Lid (no spoiler)

My FRS w BRZ spoiler (and toyota badges)

Thanks Chate! Even though the swap took longer than expected, at least we were able to successfully do it without any major issues!

Let's do our canyon run soon!

If anyone in the South FL/Miami area wants to swap their BRZ SWP trunk lid with a wing for my FRS Whiteout wingless trunk lid, let me know. My car is in Miami for another month or two, and I'd like the wing. Please PM me if interested!
