Im pretty sure AVO tracks their car, I'm sure if you search for them on this site you'll find all kinds of details on their setup

Just fired it up for the first time and the overpipe gasket is leaking like crazy. Not a big deal, I have an AVO overpipe on order and will use new gaskets when it arrives.
I did notice that there was a ton of moisture coming out of the exhaust. It seems like there was a blue tinge to it. It's leaking out of the overpipe to front pipe gasket. I live in a very cold climate in a heated garage that gets extremely humid when it heats up. Is this just regular condensation? I cant' see how coolant would leak out of the turbo into the exhaust |

Fuel ranges from 91 octane to race gas for all of the above. Brakes run the gamut from stock with upgraded pads to big brake kits. A wide range of wheel and tire setups as well. |

I have all new grimmspeed gaskets as well, but I used the OEM ones on the OEM overpipe just so I could start it up. Using the new ones when the overpipe gets here next week
I'm guessing it's just regular condensation too, I was just being paranoid haha. |

We are tracking the AVO kit. Last season we tested on base kit with stock exhaust. Found the need for a bigger radiator, an oil cooler, exhaust. This season we will be upping our game with more boost, E85 and 3" exhaust.

Has anyone had any issues with routing the intercooler hoses and keeping the headlamp washers.
I don't think the FR-S have these. The right hand side one right now is particularly giving me the poops. (Opposite side to the washer bottle) |

@bigmaxy I think most people remove that bottle for the line. I have not had a BERZ in for the kit so maybe @Driftoffice or @AVOturboworld can give you a bit more information.

I believe his solution was to drill out the hole a bit bigger and drop the washer fluid bottle down more. Check his build thread

They're simply in the way. Definitely something that has been overlooked by AVO and I was surprised no one mentioned it before. I had to remove the washers. (Not needed imo, anyway). You'll have to follow the water line back to the washer bottle and unplug the connector to that motor. This will stop water spraying out of the holes. What you're left with are some water line that can be used in the future for meth injection. |

Thanks Skorov (and others). I do believe this is an AU/EU possibly JP issue.
In searching the net I have seen images of cars which still have the washers installed including @nix I noticed nix had a cable tie holding the intercooler piping back but others don't seem to have needed to do that. Just not sure if I need to trim one of the hoses. Possibly the one going to the intercooler to bring the hose closer to the centre of the car so it passes to the inside of the washer. Thanks again all. Cheers |
