Just to jump here with our recommendation. You should always use ProECU with Boot Camp and a copy of Windows. This will guarantee its stability and it will run much faster.

We do not support using ProECU with any type of virtualisation software due to timing issues that may or may not cause timing issues on various laptops - when programming your ECU, you really don't want to have comms issues!

With Bootcamp on Mac, you get all the benefits of the Mac hardware running Windows. It does however mean you need a copy of Windows for your Mac.

And so, the first coming of ECUTek Retail Tuning Software came to pass. Enthusiasts everywhere rejoiced in its release, For this day will now be known to all as, ECUTekmas.

ha ha!

Enjoy fellas, make sure to really dig into it and the instructions. Not something you want to miss. Lots of shortcuts and ways to navigate it that make it really easy too, mouse is mostly optional by the time you figure it out.

It looks like you can edit all for map modes if they are already enabled on the .bin file from your tuner. I can certainly edit the fuelling, base and advance ignition for all 4 as well as enable the FFS, LC and auto-blip. What I do find odd is that while I can edit those, I can't chose which maps are enabled. The map in question has 3 selectable via CC but all 4 show in the editor. I guess to enable/disable the maps requires the full RaceROM functionality.

John, how sure are you about that?

I can certainly change values in the tables and save them I find it's the exact opposite. I can edit and save but have no way to select how many of the maps I want.

FYI, this is 3 mode map provided to me by a tuner.

Your using a older version of RaceRom which is why you can see the other maps.

The updated RaceRom code won't have everything you see but has updated code that's much better

That's it I guess. I've just realised that I have no access to edit the auto-blip settings. Where are the base maps available from?

No problem.

For those of you who want the map switching with different tunes... I'll be offering a inexpensive service where you send me the ignition and fueling maps and I'll put them all together in a Map switchable tune.

I will also be offering a tune review service

John
