don't really care about the vert, there are already plenty of heavy slow wobbly cars out there
but PLEASE can we have a turbo version? I can already hear the cries of "blah blah blah purist blah blah", but guess what, the turbo would be an OPTION, nobody would be forcing you to buy it over the NA version.

Base Impreza MSRP is $19k and WRX is $26.5k.
Not sure why anyone would expect a price increase for a turbo FR-S to be $15k+ when it's only $7.5k for the Impreza...

Are we going to go through this back and forth every time a variant is announced?
Because if they go ahead with the sedan/hatchback I don't want to hear about it until the first run has already been built, shipped, and I get a call from my dealer trying to get me to come sign the papers. |

you do realize that turbo imprezas have been out for more than 10 years right? The FRS being a new car, there's gonna be constant premium on everything. So a regular frs/brz is around 27-30 after taxes. After a turbo, supporting mods, maybe upgraded brakes/tires, the price is gonna be near $40k.

Just like you said, a base impreza is 19-20k, a base FRS is 27-30k. Its all relative. |
