Doesn't work like that. Your ecutek is linked to your ECU, so you can't loan it out to your buddy for him to tune his own car. You need your own.

You can use someone else's cable. Your tune will be locked to that dongle and cable though.

i.e. You would need to borrow that particular dongle (and any ecutek cable) any time you needed to re-flash your tune.

Have a cable if need one to use! Honestly, might as well get your own as you will be getting new tunes because you will be getting smaller pulleys eventually!

I'm in Tempe and have a cable as well, but I wholeheartedly agree with the comments about buying a dongle and cable of your own. If you wanted to you could use both my cable and dongle.
I have the same setup (mine is the innovate one, but same thing) and I went with Moto-East. I have been impressed with their tune. Also, I talked a dyno-tuner here in Tempe who said for a little more he could fine tune. Feel free to hit me up if you want to compare installs, talk smaller pulleys (I just got one! waiting for the heat to calm down). PM me if you wanted to check it out. |

Yeah, I'm running a 70mm on that kit with E85 Moto tune also. It hates this heat. I'm in desperate need of a oil cooler.
