Read the owners manual first I would suggest. 87 is BAD!

You have a different driving car awaiting you when you put the right fuel in it!

These cars run best on 93 USA fuel, they will tollerate 91 at reduced performance and economy.

87\89 is below whats recomended by the manufacture (91 is minium recomended)

below is log of stack car on stock tune on South Africian 95 RON fuel about your 91 USA fuel

it knock pretty bad and IAM is 0.3 , this should be 1 for max performance and economy.

ecu will pull timing and add fuel to try to combat knock on low quality fuels so you get less power and worse economy on poor fuels.

87\89 would be getting close to causing damage due excessive knock especially if you drive it hard or track car on such low quality fuel

Would it be prudent to somehow bump USA 91 to 93 using E85/91 mixture in a way so not to offset fuel trims radically?

If its ethanol free 91 then you could add 10-15% E85 to bump the octane up a point or two. lucky in Australia we have high grade E85 thats always E85.

The problem is going to be the ethanol % varies and the petrol they blend with E85 is not always high grade.

I'd love to try these out, is it possible to apply as a beta tester for these tunes?

I'd like to see an update as well, I'd love to have this tune before the summer starts which is when I'm putting my UEL in. I'm assuming Shiv is just super busy with other model cars as well which is totally understandable for something that's open source and free like these tunes.

Read through the thread but couldn't determine the changes that are being made to the E85 map and what the power changes will be, I did notice that it Shiv mentioned it wasn't a significant improvement but interested none the less

Yup, all the gains are on 91 or 93 under 80 degrees Fahrenheit (26.67 celsius)

Is this 80 degrees intake temp or ambient temp?
