We've never changed the rotors since we purchased the kit... but a LOT. I'd guess about 25k miles, and enough to go through about the equivalent of 2ish sets of pads.

For reference, ImperiousRex's AP Racing kit has about 15 track days on them, and has gone through about 1/3 of 1 set of pads...

I love the BRZ as a DD and as a track car but I have stopped tracking it partly due to DI concerns and partly due to not having to GAF with the car in the link above. The Integra isn't as precise or fun, but it's safer, quicker around the track that I was with the BRZ and if it nails a wall my only real loss is time. Parts can easily be moved.

Pad compound choice may have something to do with it too.

We ran without ducting; I'm guessing you have no ducting either?

ImperiousRex does (now).

No ducting. I was going to work with.. uhhh.. whoever made a kit.. TougeFactory maybe? anyways I forgot to send him measurements and then I decided to reduce my track usage of the car anyways.

What will become of your BRZ in the future? DD? Tune to fix DI?

DD for now. When it's worth less (ie <10k or so) it'll probably get a roll bar and be a track whore again. Safety stuff was the primary driver for me, not the DI issues.

Austin may (or may not) have blown his up after a tune so the tune may not completely fix it either.. at least that's what I gathered from a few posts I skimmed..

<< out of the scene here lately.. damn work!

Deciding whether to cut bait on this platform. It's flaws are starting to take away from it's merits...
