based on number I won't be able to live with this car unless I add FI
but those numbers don't seem to be very FI friendly.
8psi ant corn fuel will get you close... at least with a turbo, a s/c wouldn't probably get there just do to parasitic drag of the pulley

Yeah, I guess I will leave it N/A after I learned from people.

If there is a reliable plan plan come out, I would consider that. Now I notice that we have to get a stand alone system to work with ECU, which I totally have no idea about it.

Lean burns are fine for emissions. The reason why automakers stick with stoich is that it's the most well-balanced. If you run say a 15.5:1, you get better hwy but worse city, and losing some smoothness. The 2012 Mazda3 run 12:1 compression with 14.7:1 air-fuel ratio because stoich ran the best according to them. On a side note, the Mazda3 runs only 12:1 on the Skyactiv G because it's retrofitting a new engine into an older model, and couldn't run a 4:2:1 header that's ideally suited for the engine.

200hp is impressive to me, when you consider that it does that at a lower RPM than a Honda K20 that gets wringed out to 8k.

Plus it's a Subaru! lol probably doesn't matter to most people but I never thought Subaru would have an NA engine that could hold it's own against anything from Honda. I'm very happy with the engine, turbos don't do much for me. I think people who complain about 200hp don't realize it is about 300lbs lighter than the cars they are comparing it to. It won't be a rocket ship but it won't be wheezing along either.

One of my cars has better than 100/L 14 years ago for 23k

S2K had 120/L but was more expensive.
