My BRZ on the water!

For you guys with BRZs how long till it arrived once it was on the water? My status changed from on order to on the water today but it says pickup date is still 7/12/12? Surely it won't take 6 weeks to delivery once its on the water? Thanks

yup! sounds about right, took around the same time for an 86.

but if it "was" on the water, meaning it is now on land then no, it shouldn't take 6weeks.

It's 2-3 weeks on the water, 2-3 weeks through customs and at the docks, then 1 week for dealer prep.

These dates allow for any unseen delay.

Mine took just over 2 weeks from "on water"

Estimated delivery was showing 9th November up until 2 weeks or so ago.

Picked her up yesterday (17th)

Now my face hurts from smiling so much!

Not long now

The waitin period of 18 months for a 86 in Australia happend.. If we had our cars as readily available as you peeps in the states, half of the Australia forum wouldn't exist :p

^this.

Folks in the States don't know how good they've got it. There are actually lots of these cars just sitting at dealers over there waiting to be bought. It's maddening.

So has your pickup date stayed the same the whole time? I'd be guessing yours will be delivered ahead of schedule if it's already on the water
Mine has has estimated delivery at 26/12/12, so hopefully it'll update to ''on the water'' soon too!
