Weather started to warm up so I thought it was a good time to take the FR-S into the sunlight.

Stuck on the old TRD shift pattern sticker onto the console plate cover and WC Lathe Werks titanium e-brake button was gifted to me by my friend.

How did you black out the speaker rings?

After a 3 month backorder, I finally received my Worksbell Rapfix GTC and hub adapter.

Attached the Nardi to the GTC and EVS cruise control adapter to it to make the install of the whole setup easier when the time comes.

Nardi horn buttons are a pain in the ass to install.

Works Bell hub, Rapfix GTC, EVS cruise control bracket and Nardi wheel have been installed.

Feels pretty good but I haven't been able to drive the car much. Horn doesn't work since the connectors on the flipper don't mate up with the OEM horn/cruise harness unless I completely remove the cruise control harness and add the supplied harness. Only one resistor is supplied so my airbag light is on so another resistor is on the way to remedy it.

EVS Tuning adapter brings out the stalk pretty far out and there is a chance that it will hit my leg so take that into consideration if you plan on buying something like this.

TRD bolts have been installed front and rear. They are M6x1 threads so they won't fit on the back unless you tap M6 threads or place an insert which is what I did.

Lastly the Scion key shell was swapped out for the new Toyota one.

HKS dry carbon intake tube, oil cooler and Cleib exhaust finally arrived.

Had time to finish up the install of the KW Clubsports but with the bipolar weather we've been having here I haven't had a chance to drive it.

SPL suspension arms, EVS Tuning front pipe, Verus rear cam plate and the ARP extended wheel studs finally came in. Still waiting for the rest of the parts but at least I can get my suspension and exhaust finished before the season starts.

Picked up some Motul 300V to test out in a 0W-20 since I'm going to be installing the oil cooler this weekend.

Oil cooler install is finally done after weeks of loafting around, Verus carbon sidemarker deletes and some Whiteline bushing inserts have arrived.

When I took apart the intake i forgot to cover the box with something so dust and all that wouldn't get in but I forgot so the MAF is dirty. I'm just assuming this since my car threw a check engine light saying that it is running rich.

Little update.

For those with fog lights and are looking to buy this HKS oil cooler it will not clear the turn signal connector unless you buy the harness from the non fog light model. The turn signal connector that connects to the bulb is much longer on the fog light model for some reason and I wasn't able to put the bumper on.

To be honest I have lost motivation to keep the build going as I'm constantly finding small issues like these turning me away from the car. Currently looking at purchasing a new vehicle so we will see where that goes.

Ahh don't be that way. Maybe slow down and enjoy it as is for a little while til the motivation comes back?

But if you do decide to sell, I'd be quite interested in a few of those parts. And since you're local, I'd come by and pick them up.
