Have fun removing that when it's time to do it. Don't care how many people say "It just peels off"..........ha. If there are areas that are thinly applied you will work your ass off to remove it. Buy some of the dip remover before you start when it's time to do it.

I don't think it is that expensive. I've dipped my own car and including the cost of the sprayer and supplied I have about $250 into the dip job. It's on it's 3rd year now and still looks great.

I wish I did the pearls with the dyc topcoat. This was my first time using pearls so I wanted to be safe and not waste money incase I messed up. Top coat over this will look very good though. Different lighting gives a different color. |

Thank you. I appreciate it.
I ended up using 3 gallons for the base coat and a gallon each of matter clear and glossifier for the pearls. I used and still do use the Turtle wax spray and i love it. It took away the rubbery feeling that dip can have. And use it after every rinse. |

I really clicked on this thread expecting to see a train wreck...have seen so many bad dip jobs and of really bad colors...
Yours looked great! Great color and great job on the dip job. The color of your wheels looks great with that color as well. |
