Jesse and his brother did the harness

@yomny

You went with the recirculated WG, but doesn't that mean you still have your BOV, or did you recirculate that as well?

want to make me one? I'm guessing its just the stock harness rewired/reconfigured. I miss my old STi bay that was tucked away like that, sigh.

It's a OEM harness all de-loomed,re-pinned and rerouted. My Brother definitely did most of the work! I don't think he wants to do it again lol. I'll post some pictures of the finished product in my build thread soon.

looks fun

Luckily for you I live far away so I can't come and harass you about making him possibly do mine Not sure if I'd be up to do that myself, I always tackle everything myself but wouldn't know where to start on something like that.

That's a crazy amount of wiring. Props to your brother for removing the IP. That's never something I want to venture into.

Yeah the bov and the wastegate are two different animals lol. The wastegate not being recirculated makes an open exhaust(no header) sound when it opens as it reaches the predefined boost pressure. The bov just vents excess air when you close the throttle plate, it's a nice lite wooshh sound. We don't really recirculate that as our maf sensor is located after the bov.

If the maf was before the bov, air would still escape and pass through the maf causing a rich condition since the maf is still seeing air?

So since the bov is before the maf, the excess air doesn't pass through the maf causing a rich condition, right?

At least, that's what makes sense to me.

A part of this is to keep the thread alive and active.

That larger portion is because I HAVE SO MANY QUESTIONS before I buy the kit.

Can't hurt to ask.
