FT-86 SpeedFactory - V1 Cat Back Exhaust - Your feedback wanted!

FT-86 Speed Factory has been working on this exhaust for a couple weeks now. We have got this version to a beta test stage and have been driving around with it for the last week. We will be racing with it at the SCCA Solo Nationals this week and then take it into production.

We set out to build this version to be the exhaust that won't annoy the girlfriend or yourself, won't attract attention from the police, and frankly be something that can be used in a daily driver / weekend warrior car. You hear the exhaust when you want to, by letting the RPM's wrap out with your foot firmly on the floor, and don't hear it when cruising at 3000 RPM down the highway. It is also not overly loud when shifting normally on your morning commute to work. To keep the ruckus down during normal driving we had to use a heavier muffler. Testing showed us that the lighter mufflers increased noise in the RPM ranges for daily commutes and is not something we wanted in our V1 system. We will have lighter exhausts for our V2 and V3 due out later this year. The number one goal for the V1 is sound and daily drive-ability, and I firmly believe that has been accomplished here.

V1 BETA SPECS:
2.5" T304 Stainless Catback to Mufler
Minimal bends, as straight as possible
3.5" Stainless Angle Cut tips ( possible 4" on finial version you help decide )
Made in the U.S.A
V-Band Clamp for rear section
Up to a 7 Wheel HP Gain in the RPM range
Up to a 3 FT LB in Torque Gain in the RPM range
Doesn't annoy the Girlfriend / Wife

We are looking for your feedback to help make this exhaust one of the best out there for a daily driver / weekend warrior.

this sounds amazing, i think this is an amazing exhaust for DD for the avg person. Now i hope your V2 or V3 will just be straight with no big muffler like the SRT end (if that makes sense)

I must be getting old. I thought the 3.5" were pretty solid.

We'll get some photos up with 4" tips ASAP.

3.5 still looks good but i think it looks a little more aggressive when the exhaust gaps are filled up a little more.

Yes, stock baseline then nothing but the cat-back was installed.

Car has approximately 2500 miles, I believe.

EDIT: Not sure on all the videos! Just the Dyno. There may have been a drop-in filter installed on the other videos. I will let JB respond to that.

RE-EDIT: Just asked JB and the car was in-fact all stock minus the cat-back exhaust.

They said it is a "heavier muffler" compared to other systems but does anyone know the actual weight or how it compares to stock?
