DFW Spring cruise 2015 planning route! Open to suggestions!

Might want to note that Benbrook lake is a nice scenic place but it has a low speed limit and deer.

I think its about 2.50 or 5 bucks or so to get in.

There's a lot of bikers too so that gets frustrating.

i used to be a member here and somehow the admin deleted my account. i got my fr-s in december 2012 and i wanted to read up in the forum to get ideas on some mods and to know where to get parts around here in dfw and i was looking for a shop that can blackout my tail lights. then... i saw you guys thread.

Took a drive on the second part of the map yesterday and we won't even have access to the roads by Benbrook Lake. It is a camp ground that is gated and only park officials and bicyclists have access through. FM 5 is good but I was stuck behind a truck and it took a while for even me by myself to pass him. Lots of traffic. I'm looking at a few roads south of it that I haven't driven before. Also part if the route goes on Bear Creek Rd and while there is not a lot of traffic, the road surface isn't great. Old Airport Rd has a better road surface but there is a little more traffic. Pick your poison I guess.

well that's abummer, i went down 157 a couple days ago, it was fun but short lived. only a few miles of fun. plus cops... :/

its a bit long about 260 miles

averaging 60mph it would take 4 hours and 20 min

end location has a lot of places to eat, doesn't have to be boomerjacks

end point is center of DFW so it would be easy for everyone to get home
