Anyone else have problems with their windows after pushing the car too hard?
I had a problem last time i was at the track and wanted to see if anyone else has had this problem. After my first 4 laps I stopped in the pits and let the car cool down, when I tried to raise the windows the window motors for the left and right windows did not seem to work, no noise or anything they were not moving. I checked fuses etc and nothing was wrong. After 20 minutes I tried again and nothing so I went out for another 6 laps and mysteriously when I pulled into the pits again the windows worked like if nothing had happened. Weird….. Any one else experience this?? Could this be crappy factory wiring that may have shorted with flex?

i was gona say some guy who took the car to the track vs miatas had the same problem.....
but ten realized it was u just in a diff thread haha |

Were there any other electrical symptoms? Weird issue. Maybe just a bad fuse.. They can look fine but still be flaky.

Did you maybe accidentally pressed the window "child safety" disable switch?

I have the same issue when the car gets too hot. It cools down, voila, windows roll up.

umm...
passenger seat belt must be on if you put electrical device on top of seat idling problems while coming to stop windows not working correctly loose wiring http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=9331 sticking gas pedals on full throttle in past Toyota's Looks like they are worse than Chrysler concerning electrical issues ah... the happiness of a first year model |
