Still not trapping quite as high, but what about I'm not talking about from a dig do you guys not seem to understand?

Also a completely stock 86 with just a tune also trapping 98...

https://www.delicioustuning.com/Stoc..._Breaks_200whp

E85 on an frs is a 170$ deal also... so it's not like you can make a huge difference in the wrx for the same money...

trapping at over 100 stage 2 e85...
1. That's still a 14 second run... with E85 tune AND headers
2. "Stage 2" still requires headers, which is another ~$600. It's not just an E85 tune.
3. Opesource tune for WRX/STI can be done for a few hundred bucks

If you're purely talking about the very specific scenario of an FRS with E85 and headers pulling up to a completely stock WRX on the freeway and roll racing, then sure. They'll probably be fairly close.

But if roll racing is the concern, why even buy an FRS? lol

They couldn't get better than 94 mph stock and 97 mph on a stage 1 cobb tune..

I'm going off of the article I posted, and JUST an e85 tune netted a faster trap than a stage 1 cobb tune...

That is one source that also didnt post direct comparisons at the same altitude of an FRS / BRZ. Their shop is located in Portland Oregon. Ffs man....you're comparing shit that cant be compared. At least do the correction math if you're going to use youtube videos.

Sorry, but I can't help but laugh at people that run E85 on their cars for that little extra "boost". At least in NC you're giving yourself a huge inconvenience, just to be able to almost be as fast as an S2000. Sad.

Then again we have 93-94 octane here, not that horse piss 91.

Running a flex fuel system is nothing but smart..... If you can't see the benefit do some research.

portland is at 50' elevation, that means it's closer to where the air is densest and power is best??? I don't get your point. You do realize they should make MORE power at a lower elevation don't you?

Besides at least the dyno done at delicious was at San Diego(vista) Ca which would be a relatively comparable elvation. Try to know what you're talking about before you spout off eh?

....wow. You really have no clue. I said that one source was from portland, and racing at Portland international which is apparently 29 ft btw.... and that calculations for comparison need to be done. You have one source and one location, not your youtube comparison. Even altitude correction wont be a true apples to apples since you'd need to know day and time as well.

At the end of the day none of it matters as its all smurfing bench racing anyways!!!

you don't understand DA do you? without knowing the DA on those passes, theyre pretty much worthless for comparison. With my 60' on a day where the da was -200 (sea level track with high barometric pressure and low air temp) I could theoretically put down a 14.0 @ 100.

its not an inconvenience at all where I live...its even cheaper than 93 in terms of cost per mile for me.

Same. The only time I fill up e85 is when the math makes sense. At that point, why not get the cheaper fuel per mile that gives more whp?

Plus, e85 is more about the buttery smooth engine & power delivery to me, than outright power.

My girl just bought a stock 15 wrx and lol, the difference in power is just palpable. I understand I don't have an aftermarket header, but I doubt I'd be making the same power by changing it. E85 helps a lot, but I don't see it happening.
