At Sun Tint right now getting the infrared ceramic installed for my FRS's one year anniversary. I'll share the final total and results once complete, but its been a great experience thus far. Good staff and waiting room, and was able to get a same day appointment!

I ended up going to Sun Busters and getting the Formula One Pinnacle Ceramic, 30% all around. After reading reviews, this is a highly recommended brand. I almost went to Sun Tint but the price was roughly the same. Total cost was $349, and the quality is top notch. Lifetime warranty and warranty against damage as well.

Perfect for the Texas heat, huge difference.

Nice - glad to hear we have two good options in town. All my impressions of Sun Tint thus far have been stellar. Got Solar Guard infrared ceramic, dark as legal all around. It was only $330 including tax and they got it done completely (drop-off to drive-off) in 90 minutes in the middle of the day. Service was excellent, and it looks amazing. All lines look good, covering the windows completely. The bonding/drying process will continue for about a week but even now it looks excellent. Here's a photo of it in the rain later today with the tint. I absolutely love it.

Looks great! Don't worry about the auto roll down. I had a bubble in my passenger window then it went away after a few days, so don't panic if you see any. Give it a good week and it will be fantastic. I didn't have mine in direct sunlight the whole time either because I have covered parking at work and covered at home. The temperatures alone outside will make it settle.

Matt can you take some pictures of your tint? I am thinking about taking mine in and getting the dealerships hack job replaced. (Ijust got my money back ) and going as dark as I legally can.

Well, I got the springs and brakes done that weekend, but there were front caliper clearance issues with the FR-S wheels on the tC. I had to order 10mm wheel spacers and 50mm wheel studs to make it all work.

Here's the result:

Wife and I are picking up our White out FR-S on the 15th of June. Do you all have any meetups planned?

Yeah, once you start buying parts for the car...you can't stop...

Speaking of parts, I got a defective crank pulley from Kartboy. I already emailed them and will probably get a replacement but I don't even know if I want to replace the stock one again. I'll probably sell it if anyone would be interested. Otherwise its going to the metal scrapyard.

-----

I'll be going to the sisters run on the 22nd.
