I would be open to paying for the led conversion too. Of course CA to TX makes that a lot more difficult. And CLEAR BRA BEFORE FURTHER DAMAGE! Clear Bra is the only reason my front end is kept clean on this car.

repost for what I did to my brz today.

Once again, @[U]BirdTRD[/U[/URL]] saves the day.

Came over to install my lip kit. I got a CS style kit - lip, side skirts, rear spats..

Well, a complete over sight to me was the fact that my Victory Function fenders are curved.. and in order for them to fit close/correctly, we had to do a bunch of modifying.

We started off by making a jig that matched the angle of the fender.

Had to drill out some spots and cut away some plastic in the side skirts to get them to bend.. and then a little bit of boiling water and a heatgun to help relax the material.. and we were able to screw it into place to hold the shape..

Sure enough, it worked like a dream.

So I got a Tomei 60R and a Tomei Front Pipe, unresonated uncatted. and HOLY it's so loud hahaha, it's amazing though, every downshift crackles and pops, even low rpm downshifts (4th to 3rd at 38mph) and (3rd to 2nd at 28mph). I always have to be a gear or two higher to drive trying to not make as much noise as possible lol. I went to supercar sunday and the car is honestly louder than some stock supercars..passed by a gold Audi R8 on the freeway and I rev'd at 3k RM and I'm sure he rev'd really high, so I rev'd to 6k and he was shocked and surprised haha, smiled and drove off. I'm really surprised since I got stock headers still..Video's don't really don't give it justice but I'll see if I can get one going. Even with the silencer on it's still insane lol. It's my first loud car so I'm shocked and in awe by it. My friend said it's louder than his straight piped 4th gen camaro. I'm looking into getting a valvetronic custom titanium dual resonated front pipe to replace the tomei one or modulate to tone it down slightly and be able to control exhaust flow with the push of a button. Build thread still has been untouched for a while but I'll do the big update hopefully this week.
