AVO Turbo Kit Stage 2 - work in progress

I've convinced Drift Office to let me put up a snapshot of their work in progress on their developmental Stage 2 tune for the AVO Turboworld Turbokit for the FR-S and BRZ. These are with the stock cross-over pipe and stock secondary cat still in place, but with the AVO cat-back exhaust. Runs were done on their locally available 92 octane gas.

Property of AVO Turboworld

They are planning to go further than this by doing a turbo-back exhaust, so these are by no means the final figures. In regards to boost, they said "it's a surprise, but under 10psi".

Just to clarify, nothing in the Stage 1 kit itself has been changed or removed, including the turbo.

Added it in, probably shouldn't be posting late at night! It's Drift Office's show, when they get to the final figures they'll reveal all.

And yes, that's the same turbo as stage 1.

Nope. That's Stage 1.5... for our regular, local customers.

Very nice numbers! Once the exhaust is changed I expect to see a healthy increase. Awesome job!

If its as efficient as the other turbo kits, with the exhaust swapped out it should make 300rwhp on 8.5 psi on 93

And this is based of another high compression DI setup running 8.5 PSI?

Wait, were you serious?! So if it doesn't make 300WHP, it's not an efficient turbo? Is it the number or the performance that you're looking for the deciding factor when considering an "efficient" turbo kit?

Well seeing how a kit compares using the same amount of boost and octane gas is a pretty valid way of being what turbo kit one might want to me.

I know dyno numbers aren't everything, but as a benchmark i'd like to see how it stacks up against other kits. Reliability, placement etc are other things to consider as well, just trying to explore one facet of the kit. I apologize.

Always look for area under the curve first and foremost before looking at peak HP.
