There are quirks, but I'm liking them as things that give the car character.
A pic came up on my social feed today and a thought crossed my mind: If I still have my BRZ when it starts to show signs of being ratted, I hope I can show the same dedication as this Integra owner: Of course, I'd never sit on my hood. Last edited by switchlanez; 05-02-2013 at 01:37 AM. |

My only complaint, and its been mentioned, is the tail lights. Why couldn't they just be red!? I can even deal with the cheesy antenna, but the tail lights bug me.

My 6 year old sits in the front just fine with his booster seat. He loves riding up front with dad.
I hate the stupid snap straps on the seats for the seat belts. I hate that it was badged a Scion instead of Toyota. I don't hate, but wish it came with fog lights.

So it depends on the child seat you buy. That law seems pretty standard for most states from what I've found so far.

We all have different thresholds for risk. I'm a worrywart, but don't have children yet--I can only assume I'll prolly do rear seats till my kids are like 21 or something. Rawr. >_< |

The only things that I dislike are below. These are so minor because I love driving the car. If these things really bothered me, I wouldn't have bought a FR-S and have gone with a Hyundai Genesis. The fun outweighs any gripes I may have with the car.
1. radio controls on steering wheel 2. no sunroof 3. lock beep that is really quiet I have no issues with the passenger seat beep going off with just my cell phone. I've had groceries on the seat and no beep. I'm not sure if the beep issue is from the first generation FR-S. I just purchased a 2013 FR-S in march. I also have no blind spots because I bought a huge mirror. One of those old school Broadway mirrors. Even though I have it, I still look over my shoulder just in case. The bucket seats are fantastic! I love the fit and feeling snug. I do know my friends (who are bigger) sometimes find them uncomfortable. I also prefer fabric seats over leather because leather cracks later on. The car is sporty and really fun to drive in manual. I can't imagine this car in automatic. The feel of the car and response is so rewarding when shifting. I love it and recommend it to anyone buying a new car. |

WHY IS THERE NO BUTTON TO OPEN THE TRUNK ON THE TRUNK?!?!?!?
Basically every other car has this "feature". I shouldn't have to hold the stupid key for 3 seconds or remember to push the button inside the car.

Or..use the key slot...or get the keyfob programed to open on press instead of 3 seconds. Check your manual and talk to your dealership to make that happen.
