At this point toyobaru would bolt a dildo on the hood if it would improve sales.

A 50-100 hp increase is not a minor change. Maybe it is for a tuner, not for a manufacturer.

Go aftermarket. It'll be cheaper.

Don't waste your breath arguing with them they aren't part of the car industry like on sites such as TTAC.

Where do people get this idea that sales are bad? Subaru sells every BRZ they make with extremely low incentives compared to the industry. Selling exactly how many they want to.

Thank you! This is what I have been preaching for 3 years and people still do not seem to get it. They plan what to make and sell them all. They are not looking for huge numbers and never will be. Should they ever decide they want to sell millions of them then it will become a standard appliance car not what it is now. Does anybody here really want it to be an appliance vehicle?

The market wants crossovers, and the FXT is Subaru's best selling vehicle.

Where is your source for that? I didn't know the turbo foresters outsold the NA ones.

It makes sense though, because AWD turbo.....

Isn't that going to be most cars though? First couple of years are the highest, and slowly trend down as the car ages? Maybe not for Mustangs and Camrys, but I would think that's how it is for the majority of cars.

Of course. For the BRZ though the profit margin is low, especially in the US where BRZ prices are lower than most equivalent markets. This doesn't really incentivize Subaru to continue pursuing such products in the future.

I'm fairly certain that one of the reasons the Us is finally getting some form of a tS vehicle is that they're looking to liquidate remaining parts inventory. It's one of the reasons why certain tS parts previously restricted for sale are slowly being unlocked as they try to rid excess immaterial inventory
