I hate sand... AutoX Sunday is in Marina on the coast so I'll be there racing for sure!

Good luck Blaine. You're welcome to borrow my EZ-Up / chairs if you need some shade over there. I have the mistifier for it somewhere. I can bring it to Santa Clara the week before. This is crucial for hot days on the track

In other news, I played around with long exposure shot of my MR2 last night. Not sure which one I like more. Yeah neither one is perfect.

I like the second one better because it's sharper!

yeah, I think the main thing that bothers me about that 2nd shot is that I lit the wheels/tires too much in relation to the car. oh well keep on practicing haha this is really the first time I tried this lighting technique.

Practice makes perfect! You've inspired me to find a nice dark spot and do a night shot of my FR-S so I can get the stars in the shot.

Thanks for the inspiration @PMok. I think I need to redo the right side but it came out pretty good so far.

Oh yeah I never thought of that before. Definitely reminds me of it now. I wonder if you could subtly incorporate an "86" into the stripes or something, like how Porsche puts "GT3" within the stripes on the side of the car.

It's done with plastidip, so masking some words or lettering would be difficult... A vinyl decal would work though. I'm wondering if stripe is tall enough to accommodate a white 86 DRIVE logo decal... Hmmmm... I have extras available.

Yep! Installed them Saturday, was pretty painless except for the rear struts. Also did camber bolts on the front. Loving it so far, perfect drop and the ride is not much harsher than stock.
