Scion Canada FR-S Pricing- June

Not sure if this was posted before, but it looks like Canadians will see their FR-S pricing in June .

One stupid thing I see is that they say you can win a 2012 FR-S. So maybe this is outdated, and pricing will be announced at a different time?

As per the rules and regulation of the contest to win an FR-S:

Quote:
GRAND PRIZE: Entrants are eligible to win one (1) Grand Prize (the "Grand Prize") consisting of one (1) 2012 Scion FR-S Sports Coupe (Anticipated Manufacturer's Approximate Suggested Retail Value (MSRP) is $30,000 (however the vehicle MSRP will not be finally determined until June 2012 at which time the confirmed MSRP will be released on www.scion.ca).

Hmmmmmm . My dealer recently told me I should be recieving my car the end of May, so June for pricing doesnt work so well unless of course I'm really not getting my car in May ! Oh well.

Doubt you'll get an FR-S in May. Even a BRZ in May (in Canada) would be early and I think you'll be seeing BRZ's on the road before you see FR-S's.

Complete shot in the dark here but I don't think you'll be getting an FR-S until at least August if not September.

My guess: BRZ - July. FR-S - September.

@Enemy... what makes you think we would get the cars so late? My Subaru dealer was 100% sure he'd get his first order sometime in June.

And btw, Canadian orders/allocations were a week before USAs official order day.

Nobody would be stupid enough to release a RWD sport coupe in Canada in Autumn. The FRS will come out before BRZ and will be in my greasy hands before the end of June, or heads will roll.

US pricing leaked today, out tomorrow so I think we'll see some new info soon.

True-knockin!

There are 2013 Genesis Coupes at dealers right now. I'm test driving a white 2.0T Manual tonight. Scion/Subaru needs to get cracking.

Today my dealer sent me the confirmation they got from Subaru for my order and it lists 5/12 as the date, so I think it is very possible (at least for a BRZ). They have told me April for pricing.

I think we'll likely see FR-S on the road by June in Canada.

Let us know how it turns out.
