That's what I did too. Still not tested so far.
Had the same info from CSG.

Hey buddy, just wanted to know where you ordered from as I'm in Ontario as well. Looking to get some cooling sorted for the spring

You could use something like the TRD ducktail trunk spoiler if you just want to reduce lift at high speeds.

We got some oil temperature data from a racing client participating in the GT86 CUP. He is currently the lap record holder in his class. It's great to see third party data logging temperatures in their W2W racing to validate the design of vents. Besides temperature data being quite interesting, the driver did note a change in aero balance with venting and without venting.

@CSG Mike do you have a copy of the installation instructions available? I'm curious to see how detailed (re: measurements and alignments) they are before pulling the trigger. Thanks!

Just curious, how much "looser" is the rear and at what speeds are we talking about? At what point does the rear wing come into play?

Curious on ^that^ as well. Looking at the TT5 rules, I'd like to run a wing but want to avoid the points for using a splitter if possible. Would the hood vents be a good balance?

It does yes! First hand experience. Even with the front splitter the car had a bit of high speed understeer. Tried everything from shock settings, height etc and in the end the vents made a difference.

When I went from no splitter to a front splitter the diff was marginal at best but I am running an APR 3D wing. In your case I’d recommend Sard type rear wing and the hood vents as my wing pins the rear down too much. This is the exact setup Edgar Morales ran previously at Summit Point and clocked a 1:22.5 at Summit. He has the video on the fastest thread.

Awesome! Thanks for the feedback. I happened to get in on one of the last runs that Kognition is doing, so he's building one to the limits of the TT5 rules. I'm sure I'll have some tuning to do once I get everything running.
