Seems a little poser-ish to buy the tS badges unless you plan on doing a full conversion.

I'm coming from an RSX, and it was pretty common for people to re-badge their Type-S as the JDM Type-R. It would cost several thousand to actually do a full swap, not even including the RHD conversion. This seems no different to me.

@DaJo,

Here this might help you out. I painted portions of it and left some black.

I was planning on the same thing with my SWP BRZ and the STi lip kit. Front would be black, side skirts would be paint matched with the lip on the bottom remaining black, same with the rear spats. Keeps it really clean, and you did it so well!

Did any people know how they mount the STI badge in thefront?

I thought that they will release the new grille for that.

However, I did not see the new grille on the list.

Thanks.

Thanks for the compliment. Sent the wheel and tire specs via PM so as not to deviate from original thread topic.

Can I ask you what wheels do you have?

Also, can the STI black plastic can still show through the paint?

Thanks,

Thanks,
@86BRZ, I used Nippon plastic primer before painting the black parts red so that the black plastic will not show through and to ensure the best paint adhesion to the plastic. Sent you PM regarding the wheel specs.
