Fir PoE...

Warlock advantages are obvious, good all around, and self res.

Titan advantages are obvious, fast melee, good defense, and the glorious bubbles...

Hunters are hard to read. They're quick, but otherwise fragile. They are a little more tactical, they need to be used for key purposes as Andrew mentioned. The invisibility is incredibly powerful to complete objectives, and being well versed in all the ways to activate invisibility can make a hunter extremely effective in situations they can't face head-on.

I didn't get to try it. Few of my friends did the 28 and 32 though and they love it. I'm still doing the story missions. I really like how they integrated Vault of Glass into the missions though. That's a nice touch for people that may have never been there.

Part of me is irritated they're reusing VoG (or any other area that gets reused). But the other part of me is pleased for the same reson n20 mentions, and even more pleased because it's relevant to the story so it feels like you actually should be there.

I thought the VoG story mission was pretty cool, was neat to go down there for something other than a raid.

Hunter is tough in PoE, you have to prioritize staying alive over DPS, especially with the 30 second respawn timer on lvl32.

Problem is that warlock is not much better, you have a safety net but you still have to stay alive. 3/4 times I've had to use radiance to prevent a wipe I died almost immediately after because there were so many enemies shooting at me.

I don't really mind the re-using of already existing locations at this point. Certainly I would love there to be more new ground, but it is what it is. Hopefully the next expansion (whatever it is) ends up adding more places to go.

I got to run the lvl 28 PoE with f0rge last night and I did enjoy it. Definitely a nice break from the Raids. I'm not sure if it will hold my interest for the whole summer, but definitely a good break from the norm. I can see where the lvl 32 and 34 will be difficult. Basically just a horde mode in a very confined area.

This Trials of Osiris stuff looks crazy so far.

If you can manage to get 9-0 (you can use those things that forgive losses) you get to go to a whole new social space on Mercury where there's a big chest. The chest is dropping arc/solar/void "Adept" versions of the Osiris weapons you can buy at 7 wins and an exotic Osiris emblem.

I'll never get there myself, but that's super cool.

Awesome, I'll definitely try to be on sometime this weekend. TDB just basically ended up being the final nail in the coffin that burnt me out on Destiny. The massive bugs when trying to kill crota just made me say f it I'll just stop playing till they fix the bugs. After that though, I had so many other games to play (And still do thanks to the recent items I acquired on my PC) my interest to play went to zero. Hopefully I'll catch you while you are on. I'll have to dig up what group you were in again.

One thing I'll say about Bungie, is they've done a great job of alienating people at times. With the original game and then TDB, they locked out a lot of people with their insistence on maintaining the Raid format with no in-game match making. Now with ToO, there's no way the average player PvP player will go 9-0. Holy smokes, I tried it yesterday and it was brutal and I know at least one of the guys I was playing with is really good at PvP. Not upset about it, just don't think I'll ever see 9-0 unless I get really lucky and have a team that can help carry me.

The tough part is when the ground becomes scorched. While the other two character classes more of less can glide or hover over the ground the hunter has to time their jumps perfectly while also not getting destroyed by ads. That's the most difficult part I've found to be on PoE for a hunter.

I think another factor is the team chemistry. After yesterday I've just come to terms that some teams, much like in sports, simply will not work no matter how talented each player. Me and Cash worked really well with Bobby and Jason as our third, but for some reason don't mesh well with Matt. With the first team I went 18-0 overall, but with the second I went 8-8 before we called it quits.

P.S Lighthouse has a lot of cool easter eggs!

Sure, rub it in! lol

Yes, you make a great point about chemistry. I know I'm not very good at PvP, but it helps when you're playing with people who don't pressure you. This game became much more enjoyable once I joined the Diglett Crushers because I was able to do things before I had been kind of left out on before (Raid, Crucible) and I feel like I've become a much better player as a result. Still wish I was better at Crucible but sometimes you just have to recognize your limitations.

Haha, I knew what you meant the first time but now that I re-read it I can see where there was confusion. To be honest, it was pretty intense when I played a few matches with Matt and Lee. Certainly a lot of pressure, which was fun on the one hand but also wears you out after a few matches. Too much pressure for a video game. lol
