Which brand for rear hub assembly?
It sounds like maybe I have my rear passenger wheel bearing going out on me, and I'd like to just go ahead and buy the full hub assembly so I can knock out the studs and prep it with extended ARP studs for a replacement when needed.
RockAuto has three brands available: SKF, Moog, and Beck/Arnley. I'm thinking the SKF is probably the highest quality, but I'm open to being told otherwise. Anyone had to replace their rear hub assembly/wheel bearings and what brand do you think I should choose here? Thanks |

I replaced mine with OEM.
For extended studs, I would go with 2.5" 100-7729, I do not think we need the 3" 100-7716, the 2.5" ones should be more than enough? |

I'm running the 3" right now, probably will go with them again because for one set of wheels I run 18mm / 19mm spacers and I like having some extra past the threads on my lug nuts. I will call the parts counter at the dealership to do a price check on the OEM hub assembly. Probably right that just going with OEM is the best bet. I will say I am REALLY happy these are sold as bolt-in assemblies vs having to press-out/press-in bearings |
