We will create a new thread about the steering spacers when they are ready to ship. In production now. No eta, pricing or specs at this time.

86 Cup / 86 Drive Challenge Rd 3-4 Buttonwillow

Blub is prepped for this weekend. Unfortunately, the Xida protos just missed us, they'll be here Monday
Just the same, we hope that adding some more front sway bar and a little aero will settle it down from how it drive at the last round. Adjustable clear polycarbonate rear spoiler is a proto from Renderos Racing. He should have them for sale in a week or so.

Sonny should have video up by next Tuesday or so. I think we might see the N/A and Mod records drop again

We have run these spacers in our NA, NB and ND Miatas for quite a while. We will be adding these to the 949Racing.com site in a month or so. Price, final specs TBD.
WOW!!!! I guess this is why 949 Racing is a big name in Miata world! They make parts for the actual need! I have been always thinking that the steering wheel is too far but no one talks about it and no aftermarket solution except hardcore racing steering wheels which are too dangerous for a dual purpose car. After driving my friend's 911 which offers a perfect driving position for a tall driver like me, I even started thinking about changing cars. Not necessary now

86 Cup 2019 round 3-4 Buttonwillow

Fun weekend. Huge turnout with the NorCal 86 Drive Challenge crew coming down. 45 cars! Sonny and Ed had a blast. I think we won Mod Saturday but finished 2nd on Sunday. As with the last time out, Blub was just too much of a handful on the stock shocks. Track was about 1.5s slower than last time we were there.

Sonny guiding the track walk. Many learns.

Finally dyno'd on corn

Finally dyno'd on corn. Found 21whp. Not sure if Delicious can find more but we are very happy with this. For science, we are going to try a new JDL 4:2:1 and see how it compares.

Blub has a 2.5" metal core cat in the midpipe, just behind the FP.

Getting my JDL 4-2-1 installed and dyno'd in 2 weeks time. I look forward to what results you guys get with it!

86 Xida Protos are here. Testing begins tomorrow. Final production versions will look a little different. Clamp style billet strut flange is adjustable to allow fine tuning bump travel to available tire clearance. OEM stroke so the only limit to bump travel is when your tires run out of room. This also allows you to run OEM or any aftermarket camber plates and still dial in bump travel. Double digressive pistons. Single, triple and electronically controlled semi-active ACE versions. There are more trick design features we'll talk about in the coming weeks.
