Where to buy headlight lens
I've searched without success. Here's why I want just the lens. I was in the process of baking my headlights in order to close them, and apparently, the lens rolled over and made contact with the oven grill, creating 2 small, straight indentations on my left headlight lens. The rest of the headlight is completely fine and honestly, it's barely noticeable but I'd like to see how much a replacement lens cost, since it's just plastic.

You will have to call Toyota on that one. They usually will sell just the lense but it's sadly going to be a ridiculous price. I'm a tech at a Toyota dealership and people always shit bricks when they are told the pricing on headlights/brake lights. And what's weird is the price for a complete replacement headlight with bulbs included at times is only a few dollars off the price of just the lense.

It will definitely be a ridiculous price, and it will probably come with a free reflector housing attached

So, the whole assembly is $421 and the lens is $436. I guess they charge you for the entire thing, and for the labor of splitting them open and giving you the lens. Ended up buying one for $200 @ ebay.

Seriously the pricing is gonna suck...there's been a few threads here of FR-S that got totalled...maybe you can try to contact the OPs and see if they know what scrap yard the car went to...

believe it or not dude its 1100 per side. 2200 a pair plus youd need the head light control module that controls the movement of the headlight since the gt86 ones move. insane $$$

Judging from the number of crashed twins there might be some available used headlights at a significant discount.

Regarding the jdm leveling, you don't necessarily need the leveling module. If the lights don't receive a signal, they default to "0". So unless you plan on putting some heavy stuff in the back, you'll probably be fine.
Regarding the headlights, $465? For one housing? Maybe I should put mine up for sale (currently using the jdm housings) |
