Be careful @ The everett area

Yeah... got a ticket on Wednesday... 3 counts of violation... (I didn't know the HoV lanes on i5 was 24/7). I was going south bound and went on HoV to keep myself away from other cars... [prefer to be in my own lane and what not] Then left HoV lane and switched to center lane because I got high beamed on the left [there were 3 lanes] I sped up because I had to cut pass a few cars at a safe distance. Cop then pulled me over when I'm in center lane :/. Asks why I was speeding, and I was like the guy behind me was high beaming me. Didn't believe it and gave me 3 violations: Speeding 14 mph over limit
Improper Lane Usage and Vio of Transit/Car pool lane.

I mean I deserved the hov lane one but damn the other two? Sigh.

So I called my lawyer and he said one of his clients who also drove a Subaru had similar violations to me from that area. Coincidence?
Well anyways, check 6 often when you pull these stunts and when the cops ask you, best way is to respond: "I decline to answer any questions" is what my buddy told me.

Here's hoping the cop won't show up on court date.

Unfortunately speeding to pass is still speeding, improper lane changing? Eh I'd have to actually witness it to make a decision either way. People do really dumb stuff and don't get caught all the time. High profile car in a known to be bad spot. Sorry man. I invested in a radar detector and track time so I'm less tempted to drive spiritedly on public roads.

I'm pretty sure going 14mph over the speed limit while illegally being in the HOV lane will get you pulled over nearly anywhere, not just Everett.

Sounds like you need to be more aware while driving.

Wrong place/time. Thanks for the heads up. HOVs have always been 24/7 don't ask why, that's Washington for you.
Most cops can visually notice you moving by other cars at 15 mph over.

The improper lane one though that's raw. People pass without signaling, hog the passing lane, ride the fog line, weave, do all kinds of things and don't get pulled over. But you add the speed violation, and a cop is probably gonna tack the others on as well. Package deal. Just garbage luck. Your lawyer can get 2/3 tossed, the speed might be harder. Since they have you on radar.

I-405 is 2 person car pool and buses only from 5am till 7pm then it is open to everyone, though that will change once they change it over to a HOT(tolled) lane.

I'd still have your lawyer handle it and get one or more charges dismissed.
