I love that torque shelf this kit has going on.

Same here. This supercharger holds 90% peak torque from ~3300 RPM to redline. That is impressive. Just need confirmation it is track reliable.

I'm in the same boat. I'm looking to pull the trigger come end of this year beginning of next year if I don't end up buying a house and that will give this kit a couple months to be on the market and hopefully see what it can do!

I'm very very excited because the tq benefit over the JR kit for street driving looks to be much improved. My BRZ is my only car with driving it primarily on the street and only 3 track weekends so far, I think I'd like the added tq for day to day street driving a lot more than the linear growth on the JR kit.

Pricing is great for the kit.

Yes, absolutely! The kit comes with a 3.25" pulley, but 3.00", 2.75", and 2.50" pulleys will be available as well.

How much power can this supercharger make?

In CARB exempt form, the supercharger makes about 280-300hp at the crank, utilizing approximately 60% of the supercharger's capability. With a larger crank pulley, smaller supercharger pulley, and E85, 500hp is very feasible. You'd need a built engine to sustain that type of power though, as well as a whole host of supporting mods (additional cooling, clutch, injectors, fuel pump, etc.)

Just out of curiousity do you know the boost levels of the different pulleys?

And that low peak hp & torque seems to be with full CARB restrictions: stock headers and FP w/ stock cats, AND restrictive timing. I bet with a slightly smaller pulley, and catless headers (and hi-flow cat FP), you'll be at greater whp than the new WRX w/ hundreds of lbs lighter, but faster FI response (the new WRX does spool really fast, though thanks to it being twin scroll), and higher whp.

Some track data on the performance would be nice. Would like to see how well that IC holds out during track sessions, or whether performance suffers after a short while due to heat soak. Heard OC is needed too for constant spirited driving and track useage.

Still, the $$ saved over the Innovate kit could cover all that pretty neatly I'd think.

@CSG_Mike, does CSG have anything more experience-wise with the kit yet?

I would imagine you'd be at a higher wheel hp than the new WRX, since even without those things, you are at a higher WHP than the new WRX and on par with the WHP of the new STI.

242 whp is about 295bhp. The new wrx is 268bhp and the sti is 305bhp.

You would probably be faster than either one stock with this kit due to the weight difference and with the mods you described, you'd blow them away.

Pretty sure that's the same dyno that Edlebrock had just not as cartoon-y and easier to read.

If that's the case, it's a bone stock (otherwise) automatic.

I certainly hope this is the CARB tune, everything else stock!

100% stock everything aside from our E-Force kit. It was in our manual BRZ.

I do not, as it's not something I've personally tested and logged, but expect a fairly linear gain with the smaller pulleys

As usual, we'll publish testing results when we've tested to a level of confidence where all of our results are 100% repeatable. This may take quite a while, so don't sit there waiting.
