The BRZ looks sweet man. quick question. someone prob already asked this and i either missed it or didnt look well enough but im assuming you had to use the stock top hats when you installed straight out the box.

@Ny Brz , how are your st's holding up? I want these but living in NJ we see a ton of salt in the winter. Searching Google I saw a few rusty sets. Did you have any rust issues?

ST Coilovers *Review for the Begining*
Quote:
Just the stock top hats is all that is needed. I had that setup and it worked perfectly. Had enough to dial in camber for the setup I wanted too...

Think about what camber you want to run and for what application it will be for. That should help give you a sense of getting LCA's or not. After marketer front top hats or not... Spend money on mods with a direction in mind so you don't waste money ;-)

Depends on what you are looking to do with this setup, light track and maybe some auto x on the weekends supporting mods may not be needed. Doesn't hurt though to build up everything then switch out to a more aggressive setup once you get serious.

Yea I feel you. I don't want to stance it or slam it or whatever. Just want to lower it an inch or two. Negative cambers not my style. Don't mind looking at others with it. So I should be good with just coilovers for a while. I mean it's going on my DD so just keeping that in mind Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Maybe track like once or twice a year. Would it be over kill if I got coilovers with links, LCA, and arms for my DD? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I always say if you can afford to do it then do it, LCA and arms and any other braces wouldn't hurt. Just make sure to have your car aligned to your liking.
