I'll type up some tips and steps for putting this thing on. Not sure I love it yet.

What seals the gap between the bumper and the splitter?

IMO, it's way too small to justify it being chassis mounted.

Thanks!! Seals the deal on verus for me. Looks much different than the promo pics.

Maybe the “regular” sized splitter was never a part of the promo pics, and this is it?

verus splitters are not truly chassis mounted, take a look at the install manual

https://docs.wixstatic.com/ugd/b6c8d...6f1768f006.pdf

Most of your mounting points are on the bumper / underbody plastics
the only true chassis mount is the support rods to the bash bar

not saying its a bad product just FYI

I'm quite aware. The ONLY reason I somewhat liked this was the chassis mount without support rods out the front. In my eyes the Verus looks better even with the support rods out the front....and it has documented aero analysis as well.

They sell the brackets alone, but not sure if the verus would be ok without support way up front or not at higher speeds.

Could buy the brackets and just make your own out of plywood with a layer of fiberglass (or carbon fiber for bling).

It's interesting that is made of wood. Mainly because on the website on modinfinite, it states its made out of "ABS composite material

It's made of plywood, with very thin ABS sheets adhered to the top and bottom. I will say its quite sturdy, not cheep MDF board or anything

As far as the "ABS composite material" I guess technically? but its like 98% wood. so BS

If i were to order again, id just get the mounts and make my own splitter out of something else (still might do this)

As far as the order, Shipping was fast, Packaging was great.
Everything turnswrench, said was true with my order as well,
no appropriate hardware for the endplates. 0 instructions

The splitter has one smoother side and one textured side, turnswrench has mounted his textured side up. I think i will do the opposite.

I wonder what kind of ply it is? I would hope it's not a standard plywood. Something like a Baltic Birch would be nice.
