Help me understand this please.

I go to a DIY car wash because the water here in Sierra Vista leaves spots all over the car. No matter how shaded the area is it always leaves those hard water spots. I use the DIY washes because they have the spot free water. I bring my own bucket, sponges, and soap and just use their water. It leaves it looking really good without the annoying white spots all over.

I'm going to miss this month's HPDE, but I'll be at the autocross in Marana tomorrow.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: BUY RINSELESS CAR WASH. It can act as a rinseless wash, water softener, quick detailer and clay lube depending on concentration. I've used both Optimum No Rinse and Blackfire Wet Diamond Rinseless. To be honest, I've not traditionally washed the BRZ at all... only rinseless.

Using a DIY wash is guaranteed to put swirls in your paint. Seriously a last resort option. I only ever used them in Connecticut and only to spray off the salt / sand.

Clouds don't seem too bad yet. Also I am the only person parked at the trailhead, despite it being such a nice day.
